Join us for Twilight Camp
This year's Twilight Camp theme is Passport to the World. While having a lot of fun doing traditional outdoor camp activities we will explore some different places around the world and also create outdoor art and earn our Outdoor Artist badges.
Information
Twilight camp is a pathway for girls to enjoy Girl Scouts. Campers will be placed in small units and discover new experiences, connect with new friends and take action putting their new skills on display – all during the camp! Older girl and adult volunteers lead campers on activities and adventures at camp as they become a team.

- Who can go to Twilight Camp?
Girls in grades K*-6 of the 2024-2025 school year can attend camp as campers; girls who will have completed 6th through 11th grades and attended training can volunteer at day camp as caddies.
Campers can sign up for day camp with a buddy. We make every effort to place buddies in the same unit, but we also work to ensure girls make new friends, too! If buddies aren’t already a Girl Scout, it’s not a problem. Buddies just need to go to girlscoutsrv.org and pay the $25 membership fee.
*girls entering Kindergarten may attend camp if they bring a parent volunteer!
Volunteers Welcome
Parents and other interested adults can enjoy day camp along with Girl Scouts. Day camp volunteers are needed as unit adults, first aiders, help with food, and program support.
We need 15-20 adults for day camp. We will ask you to register as a Girl Scout and complete a background check as required by River Valleys - it's quick and easy!
There will be an orientation and training for adult volunteers that will cover basic Girl Scout expectations and specific day camp plans. There will also be a caddie orientation sometime prior to camp!
Caddies 6th-12th Grade
Girl Scouts (completed 6th grade and older who have completed Jr. Caddie (program aide plus), Caddie, or Sr. Caddie training) are welcome to come develop their leadership skills at day camp! As a Caddie older girls will make new friends and have fun while receiving leadership training to become guides and role models to the campers. Our caddie program is a chance for older girls to gain valuable leadership experience while having fun! They will lead small units of campers while being mentored by adult volunteers. There will be 2 GS volunteer led trainings (they are not run by council) at Camp Lakamaga April 19-20 and April 26-28 - watch for more information!
